The conference, Taking Action for the world’s poor and Hungry People, was hold on Oct. 17 to 19 by the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development of China and IFPRI. There are more than 400 participants of Asia, Africa, America, Europe and Oceania to take part in the conference to discuss how to reduce poverty in the world. PCTD provided four simultaneous interpretators and two normal interpretators of Portuguese to accomplish the interpretation service which was though highly by organizer and participants.
